Alright Yes the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
is the most high performance clutch from them.
It costs, from Jegs High Performance$449.00 that
is also w/a centerforce T/O Bearing which is seperate. I got everthing back in by 5 or so today
It takes probably a good 6-8 hours to install the
Centerforce clutch and that's w/ 2 people. which
my truck is 4x4 so that takes longer...and for the
Hurst shifer, R Middleton says it's smoother, well
my stock shifter was a whole lot smoother than the
Hurst. I even Took the center springs out of both sides of the shifter to make it easier. Which I am
going to readjust my stops..The stick is hitting
my dash when I shift in 1st 3rd and 5th. I will
post more when I work out the bugs.....
Thanks for the questions.

Justin,

I heard that the Hurst billet shifter does not fit on '01 & up. That's why the shifter is hitting the dash. I wrote to Hurst and they are working on one to fit our daks. I read someone having to do some mods on the shifter to make it fit. Good luck with your adjustments.

Just for the record I said it was tighter not smoother. It's all subjective, I really like the feel of my Hurst. My only other question is did you adjust the stops correctly because mine doesn't get closer than an inch to my dash? perhaps this is a 4 x 4 issue. Anyhow, like I said in the e-mail don't suffer for fashion if you like the stocker better put it back in.

I have the "Competition Pro" shifter on my NV3500, I don't have the part number. My truck is a 5.2 2wd, so sorry if I caused any confusion. Justin, I hope you work it all out.

thanks NJQCDak I missed the billet shifter refrence first time around.

Peace.

Middy.
