Well I made some posts 3or4 months back on my
centerforce dual friction clutch on how much it
helped on my dak "from the butt dyno and from some
of my home town 2 lane road 1/8 mile drag strips"
well after 6 months and probably 70-80 5,000 rpm
sidesteps. One side of the pressure plate collapsed. Well dropped the trany back out, the
clutch disk itself still looked brand new! Drove
back up to Jeg's High Performance in Columbus OH
showed them the clutch and they thought it was a
default in the pressure plate "didnt tell them about all the side stepin" but they hooked me up
w/ a new one for $0.00 cool so I bought the
Hurst Billet Plus w/adjustable stops. I'll have it
all back in by tomorrow evening post back on that
new Hurst shifter Centerforce clutch has been the most noticable butt dyno differece I have had

do you mean it felt like it gave more power, or just better shifts? also how long did it take for the install? the dual friction is the stage 3 right?

when you take off quick, you slip your foot off the side of the clutch, and give it lots of gas. it is the fastest way to disengage the clutch, but its not the best thing to do for the clutch or the drive train.
