Well. Im new here also. and looking for get my 99 R/T a little faster. What Ive been told is to go with the pcm first, than a TB Fastman F&B or whatever. I know mopar doesnt make a pcm for the 2001 models correct? Soo... Maybe Fastman TB, Mopar headers, Borla Catback Exhaust?
Just a few opinions

Danny,if you are going to go with the pcm first i would definately get the m1 next. the pcm raises the shift points up to 5200 where the stock beer kager falls on its face. i had the pcm in for a couple days before my m1 install. it felt like it fell on its face on top end after around 4800. i would definately think about investing in the 2 at the same time or at least get the m1 first. just my $.2

thats good advice. dont worry about the TB for a little while, it only adds about 5-8 rwhp. after you get the M-1, and other mods it will become the weak link, but now i wouldnt worry about it.

hey slider_buck, what kinda hp gains did you get out of the pcm? since i have a 5speed, i have to flash mine, and i dont know if its worth $400 what do you think? since i have the M-1 i know i would benifit from the raise of the rev limiter, but $400 is $400.

one thing about the m1 is how well it does in the upper rpm range, that 400 to raise the limiter might be worth an extra 20 horse or so. it definately pulls hard clear up to 5200. i used my gtech after i had installed the m1 and pcm. it showed me about 30 extra horse between the two. not so sure i agree with this. i have read other posts where the m1 has shown around 30 extra horse just by itself.
