i have heard by adding the extream top, it dosent add any hp, because the throttle body can not take in that much air

the extream filter is the lid to the 14" round filter. normally it is a chrome pice.

if you want to know if a K&N FIPK works better than stock, the answer is yes. i dont know what you would gain on a v6, but im sure you would be able to tell a differance

airaid uses a K&N filter (or something exactly the same) so by replacing it with another filter will not give you anything.

i thought the extream line of filters were JUST the filter lids for the 10-14" round filters? did they expand their line?

K&N does make a whole line of xtreme filters. The extreme cone is some what like the Intense Performance or S&B filters. The K&N filters have a flat filter at the end were as the Intense Performance and S&B have a inverted cone. These filters will allow air to go straight into the intake pipe instead of making a 90 deg. turn into the pipe from the sides.

I love my Powerdyne. Yeah for now it is only a 6#. It was easy to put on and after a few minor problems has been trouble free. I had to get the MSD BTM and a set of 24LBS. injectors but that took care of my problems. It was a christmas present from my wife and I didn't get it till after New Years so I guess it has been about 4 months now.

MSD makes a stand alone that will work with the stock ignition. I know for sure that the stock ignition one cost a little less and they have a different part number (MSD-5462) than the ones for the MSD ignition. Of corse you could just buy the MSD 6btm and get the ignition, btm and soft rev rpm limiter. The 6btm is like $320, but you get it all.
