I have heard from others that the autolite plugs
are not very good? Is it just that they work well
with the mopar engines? Ive been
reccomended to buy ngk platinum plugs.
However, i see a lot of people on here with the
autolites. Help! Which should i get? Not a lot
of cash available so i cant do trial and error
myself =[

I had them in mine I didn't see any difference in them I went back to the Split Fire plugs. The Auto Lites probably work better on the newer Daks mine is a 94 3.9

Thomas, What engine does your truck have? If it has a 4.7L it has a seperate coil for each spark plug or coil on plug. The 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 all have distrubtors and one coil for all cylinders.

I have a 2001, will the autolites be the best
plug for me? does it really matter? right now
im either going with ngk platinum or the
autolites.... bernd runs autolites though so
they have to be a good plug, no?

I will add my 2 cents to this dated post. It has been said that the autolite plugs(forget #) don't work well with little or no mods on the 3.9 anyway. I can attest to that as I replaced the champions with them and I immediately noticed a much milder response to my dak. I think Larry from J&J posted this and I wish I saw it before I wasted my time and money puting in the autolites on my stock Dak.

Wasted "TIME" and money. My time is worth alot. And I agree 6 bucks is cheap, so I will yank those crappy autolites out of my DAk when I get the chance. Oh ya I forgot I have the 180 stat as well.
