I'd like to swap my 2.5 for a 3.9 . Could anyone tell me what I need or maybe point me in the right direction? Also is it true that the Jeep 4.0 will bolt in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2.5 and I looked at it a swap posibility, so i asked a few friends that have knowledge, and they said I could fit the 5.9 or even bigger,... I plan on doing this once I find the perfect engine. If I was you,... I would change your 2.5 for something larger, not dissing the 3.9 or anything, but swaping a motor sucks in general, and if your gunna do it anyway you might as well put in something big. I hope everything works out for your swap though... peace

hey guys , i have a 2.5 in my truck right now , but a few months ago i took a 5.9 out of a wrecked r/t and also the tranny. Does anyone know where i can find the engine mounts to mount these to my 99 dakota???
