i heard you spray oil around the engine, and it will change speed when the oil gets by the leak? is this true? i dont want oil all over my engine.

Oh, you mean vacuum leak, yea, use WD-40 sprayed where it could leak, not everywhere, if you spray it everywhere, you won't know where the leak came from.

When you spray the WD-40 where the vacuum leak may be it will be sucked in and burned causing the jump in RPM's. You can use starting fluid or whatever you have on hand for a quick test.
