nope! but that didnt stop me ;-) for the throttle body, dont worry about it. they cant see it, so it will pass the visual. and i smoged mine with the following: k&n FIPK, 50mm TB, 1.7RR's, JBA headers, high flow cat, and a dumped gibson.
and it passed! my manifold was also leaking, because of a broken bolt!
i installed my M-1 the day after i smoged it. the guy that did my truck kinda knows me, so i doubt he will say anything about my manifold, but if he does, or if the truck just wont pass, ill change back to the stocker.
they are pretty easy to change, and the power you get out of it, i wouldnt mind changing every 2 years...if i HAVE to
