Subject: Dumped Flomaster, really loud!
IP: Logged

Message:
I had a 50 series Flomaster (3" in dual 2.5" out) on my R/T with two pipes going out behind the rear tires and it always sounded good, never that loud. Well I had to get some new cats put on and so I decided to chunk the old rusty tailpipes and go with dumped pipes. It may have been a mistake cause it's really freakin loud now, vibrates the whole truck. So if you want louder exhaust dump it, otherwise keep the tailpipes pointed away from the truck. I'm not saying it sounds bad, it actually sounds cool like a Hot Rod now, but it may get on your nerves over time.

I have the Flowmaster 40 but still kept the pipes goin out and it still vibrates the cab when I'm driving. Set off a car alarm yesterday when I punched it through a parking lot.
