I have a 01 4.7 and I heard if i took my clutch
fan off that it would give me more HP...is this
true..witch it already has a electric fan ....
if i did this would the factory electric fan
be enough...Or would it run hot...I have a 180
t-stat......Every little thing helps.....

pull it out! 180 stat works fine to keep temp down, intake helps also!
have run my truck in 95 degree weather for a week straight, weather has cooled off a little now, but temp never rose above normal, and if it was in the middle...elec fan kicked in.
(p.s. check old thread "no fan = free horsepower")
