Me too!!! I wouldn't say I smoked the sucker but he never caught up. I was racing in the orange county, CA area and it was a 2 lane onramp onto the 91 fwy. He had this awesome black R/T cc that looked dropped. I knew this guy was willing to play and I dropped it into second and it was on. ( 4.7, 5 spd.) The fwy was pretty open and by around 100 or 105 mph, he never caught up or passed me. Since, I've not raced another R/T, but I anticipate the moment. Have stop light raced a 4x4 q/c w/4.7 and beat him as well as 4 newer model chevy c1500's. The dodge just walked away from them. But damn, Mercedes AMG55 are fast. I lost that one. -Tip for all guys. . .don't street race with your wife, they just tell you to slow down. Mine did like the 1/4 mile though.15.562 @ 86mph.Flame Red 2001 q/c with 40 series flowmaster

I just beat a 75 firebird with a .030 over 454. We were in the same lane at a stop light (he was in front). He looked in the mirror and did a little rev. I did a bigger one back, then he really revved it up. When the light turned he took off spinning, I chirped the tires a little and then hammered it. Then I hit second and pulled out around him. I hit third while passing him and just left him behind. He followed me into KFC, thats when I found out he had a 454.

To CW. Where did you get your h.o. cams? I heard rumor that the grand cherokee would have a 4.7 h.o. as an option with around 275 hp. Are these mopar cams? Are they a direct swap in or is it more involved? When you removed your third cat, did it affect any check engine light? It sounds like a good idea and not to complicated since there are no O2 sensors behind it. Just guessing, how much H.P. would you say you have after all the mods? Sorry for all the ?'s.

I ordered them for a 2002 grand cherokee with a HO engine. (HO engine just relased this year) They are a direct swap no springs or anything took me 3 hours to do but I am a dodge tech. The cat removal is a good mod lets the engine rev better. No check engine lights or anything of that nature. HP, I don't know. 270? Can't even give a resonable 1/4 mile time as there is about a foot of snow up here.

My 1/4 mile times aren't accurate for most people in the states as I am at 3000 feet here. Alot of people are near sea level that I hear from. I have run a corrected 14.55 with a full tank of gas and a passenger. That was on 235 winter tires so I am hoping for better times with summer tires and less weight.

Ok....how 'bout...the 4.7/linux kernel and 5.9/Windows98 kernel. Alright, second edition. ;)

Oh, and I think it's something like 40,000 Athlon XP's to one cray. Ouch. ;P

YJ,

When you talk about OS Kernel's, I would base it on reliability more than anything else. So there is no question how reliable a 5.9L is. It's at the least a Novell Based system. A Ford would be OS/2 Warp HAHA

Anyone remember Bob, I feel like I am the only one who ever used that POS, I was a little kid when I used it, so I remember it well.
