I have 2000 dakota 4.7 auto 355 trac loc rear gear, first oil change at 15,000, My ? is can I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and (NOT USE A LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVE) with the full synthetic GL-5 Mobil 1

What does the back of the bottle say,? I have heard you can use synthetic with out the posi additive, but I really dont know, i just went with the 8 ozs of posi additive, and two Qts of 80-90 wt gear oil. takes it right to the fill line below the plug. I also removed the cover and cleaned out the gears, ..by spraying with brake cleaner,the type that evaporates fast. Made by CRC.
