I have detonation problems in my 2001 4.7L will a chip help me out? It is less with "premium" gasoline but It still pings on uphill or heavy acceleration...I am runing a gibson 3" single side out....Volant intake....3923 autolites and am experimenting with Bernds AIT adjuster.....I have recurring MIL code p0442...no it is not my friggin gas cap.....how can I get rid of the ping and not get the MIL...is a chip my solution and if so what chip...I am unsure of sending my chip into some mad scientist for flashing....all help welcome

cow chips, naw, they don't burn that good.
here on the farm we use dynamite!!!
Do you get your gas at the same place usually?
If yes, switch for awhile, cured my pinging.
If no, use the dynamite.
