I've been looking at all the intake setups for the 4.7. I currently have an airaid and it works pretty good, but I am always looking for more power. Would it be possible to remove the airhat all together and bolt the filter directly to the thorttle body?

I currently have a mandrel bent piece of 3 inch 90 on order. One leg will be 15 inches and the other 8 inches. This will go directly from my TB to my Airaid, which will eliminate the airhat as well as the flexible 3 inch hose.

I just installed a 360airintakez. It goes directly
to the TB. 180.00 delivered. I know I could
have done it myself for cheaper but I think it
looks cool.
