Ok. I should probably know this since I've been toying with cars off and on for over a decade. . . but what EXACTLY is a cat-back exhaust. Until I got my Dak I have always run without a catalytic converter because I have always ran pre-emmisions (60's - 70's) MOPAR cars. Can anyone help a brother out?

A Cat Back Exhaust is the pipes, mufflers, and sometimes even tips. The name comes from the fact that your replacing everything on the exhaust from the catalytic converter back.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Rich. Will I be able top find just a high flow muffler and have it welded in and get the same results as buying a Cat-Back from Gibson?

You will not see the same gains as a full cat back in most cases. Usually a cat back system features larger diameter piping and less restrictive mandrel bends.
