I just called the dodge dealer and the 1.7 RR's are $580!!! I couldn't believe that. Guess it is true about the price increase they had, thats outrageous. Might as well get the Crower's or if I can get the Mopar's from KRC for $299 still I think I'll do that. I can understand if Chrysler needs to make money but they aren't gonna do it by raising the prices like that. The dodge guy said they've had tons of complaints about it already. Hope I can still get em cheap.

I ordered the mopars from my local dealer, didn't ask and was expecting to pay around $299. Ouch! When they came in and the dealer called I about fell on the floor...Anyway lucky for me[?] a guy I work with has sponsorship on his drag car from same dealer and got them for me at cost plus 10%,still cost about $400. KRC recomends the steel one's, and there cheaper than the mopars, I'd go for those if I had to do it over again...

holly molly, i guess the price went up since aug. they were going for $450, and i got them for $299.
