Anyone ever used those Bosch +4 spark plugs with the 4 ground electrode design? Are they worth over $5.00 a piece? Right now I use the regular autolite platinum with the platinum only on the center electrode tip,not the double platinum.

Definitly not worht the price unless you are looking for a plug you don't have to change again. No increase in performance or gas mileage as they claim.

HSKR, if you didnt notice a gain in performance then return the plugs. When i bought mine i got them simply cause they had the "feel a difference or your money back". I like proving companys wrong that say things like that. Besides, how the heck could you feel a difference with a spark plug? The truth is though that i did feel a slight difference in performance. I was really amazed a spark plug could make any difference at all. Now it wasnt a noticable difference as when i put my nitrous on or anything like that :-). But a difference all the same. Maybe im the only one thats tried these plugs but im quiet happy with em.

I ran the plugs for almost a year so I couldn't just return them. I broke two of my stock plugs pulling them out. They really didn't make a difference that I noticed. Put in the autolites, and it idles smoother. That was about only difference I noticed with them. I'll stick to my $0.99 plugs you can keep the $4.00 plugs.

Running nitrous with platinum plugs? I thought that was a cardinal sin! And arent the straps on the bosch's protuding? Seems to me like running Bosch's with nitrous is asking for detonation. Im just going by what Bernd has said in previous posts. You all should try the new Denso-Iridiums that are made for our trucks now, expensive but a good plug.

I have to agree with OneFast4x4 . . .

I immediatly felt a difference in smoother idle
and acceleration when I put in my Bosch +4s.

I have had them in my truck for 20K miles now
. . . the 4.7L 5 Spd is bichin' . . .

I had the bosch plugs in my 3.9 for about 6 months. Ran much better for about 4 months, then the truck began to ping, lost power, and fuel mileage went down. Went to the autolites. I have to change them every 15,000, but they are working much better than the stock plugs or the bosch, IMO.
