HELP! I have a 99' rt with the powerdyne which I bought used. After installing everything, it runs great except for one thing, my fuel pressure drops. It will start out when the truck hasnt been drivin for a while at around 55-45. then it will continually drop eventually going to 32psi. It seems to drop the last few times after i have killed and started the engine again. Im not sure if its a bad pump, regualtor, or wiring problem. The instructions say to attach the vacuum line to the capped port on the drivers side of the intake next to the brake booster line, well mine isnt capped, it goes to cruise con. i put mine on the pass. port that was capped. Is that it? Also, i noticed tonight, as i turned off the heater when i was parking, my pressure dropped 1psi, i thought that was kinda funny, so i turned it back on, and up it went one psi. Maybe the wiring is wrong? I hooked up the signal wire to the relay to the green wire in the loom. is this worng, any help is appreciated. thanks.

Did you bypass the auxillary fuel system and check the factory fuel pressure yet?

Not yet, i plan on doing it monday night at my work. ( we got a shop since its a dealership). I'll keep you updated on the problem. Im sure the sensor is good, because there is a noticable difference in performance when it shows a low reading.

Bernd, I connected the stock setup, and unplugged the relay. I averaged 49 psi the whole way home ( a first) Well i connected it all up again, and while driving i kept every electrical device i could think of on, radio, lights, fogs, heater, ect. Well I pulled up and turned them all off while sitting whith the engine running... the psi dropped 3.... so there is a direct connection with the wiring and pressure... weird huh. I'm not sure if it is affecting the stock, or aftermarket one, but it definatly is. Oh, and when i drove with all those things on... the pressure didnt go below 45 psi.... which aint bad, but still. let me know what you think.
