what final grit did you use on your throttle bodies..i did mine final was clothe dremmell bit and WD-40..left very smooth slick..is this bad?? do i need to ruff it up??? please help!!

Doesn't matter if it is really smooth or not. I just left mine at the 60 grit finish.

Ported 68mm throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat. Electric fan Convertion, Awaiting HO cams.
Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

thanks i was really worried after the last post about airplane drag. i'm putting it on this weekend so i have time to ruff it up if you think it would be better. i thought the 70mm looked real smooth and slick..was the only reason i done it..thanks again!!!!

Oh yeah the flowmetrics TB is very smooth but it is for looks not function.

I had way too much time on my hands and used the dremel jewlers rouge to get good and shiney I don't know if it made any difference looked cool though.

So I ordered a 360airintakez yesterday. I guess i'm sticking with the 68mm throttle body when I get it. Now all I need is a dremel.

Just reading some problems with engine oil use. I bought a 01 Dakota and I swear to god i'll never buy another Dodge. Got the ext. warr. on it the golden 75,000 no ded. and everytime something goes wrong or i think something is wrong they tell me its normal. Ive been a mech for over 40 yrs and they still tyr to pull the wool over your eyes. As for the Rep. forget he's just as bad.
