would there be any point to selling my airaid and gettin a K&N cold air intake? Is the performance differance big or is it not worth it?
Another reason that I'm considering this is because I want to get a Flowmetrics from speed tweeks and I don't like the idea of cutting apart my airhat.

since you want the better TB i think you should invest in the k&n.....look in any mopar magazine... there is an ad for kohler dodge that sells them pretty cheap $240 compared to the parts counter $375

there a problem with this though there is a different kit for 2000-2001 and 1997-1999 so being that I don't have a 5.2 or a 5.9 how do I know which will fit on a 2000 V6 and how much bending is involved to make it fit(i dont have cruise control)

also if i ever want a turbo this is just a waste of money

Sounds like money is not to big of a issue here :) :)

If your are thinking of a Turbo the K&N will be a waste of money.

That aside if you are going to change to the K&N you might be able to use the #57-1509 kit since you don't have cruise control that is the main difference between it and the #57-1517 it has the brackets to relocate the CC. The 1509 kit will save you some $$

The only thing I changed on my kit was the saddle bracket if you have AC it will rub the hose pretty bad unless you want to do some bending on your lines, I just moved it to the back side of the tube, worked fine.

I just ordered a V8 TB it's do in any day, ......thinking very hard on the Powerdyne setup next

no I may talk like money is not an issue but believe me it is. but i can sell airaid on ebay for almost as much as i can get a K&N. If I do get the turbo(which is a stretch) I dont think I'll feel the 250 or what ever. I originally wanted a powerdyne, but the turbo sounds better to me because it doesn't rob power in order to make it and Ive heard it help gas milage(whatever) I NEED HIGH END POWER..lol

although the thing with the turbo is that I really have trouble believing that it can add as much as they claimed it would 280-417hp!!??(gains of 105-241hp!!??) can this be right?? also how much torque will it add???
