I have a 3 inch body lift, want to go with thornbirds, possibly 33x11.5x15 . Has anyone else used this combination? Are thornbirds worth the money, just for looks and light off roading?

Any other suggestions for a good looking aggressive tire, good side lugs?

Thanks a bunch.

they are ok sitting in the driveway they suck on the street they wear out fast beat your ride to a pulp sound like a friggin helicopter going down the road a normal conversation is impossibleinside the vehicle the older they get the worse and they are directional in the mud forwards only no chickening outonce you start you have to finish or get a pull! Good in the show in front of friends bad in real life.

Go to an offroad forum and ask why they are called "turdbirds"... Get some superswamper SSR's and you'll be alot happer. turdbirds suck in the mud, suck on wet roads, suck on rocks... ALL first hand experinece. I had a set of general grabber m/t's and they worked better than the TB's.

If you want the look, get them, if you want look and performance get SSR's, If you want all of the above and good wear get some BFG mt's or AT's

BTW if you really want the $hit tire get some boggers, I loved them but it feels like your riding in a dozer.

My personal fav tire still stands is the TSL S/X
I ran 36X12.5's on my jeep, they grab all the ruts and throw you all over but hold like no other.
