Is there anyway that anyone knows of the adjust the shift firmness in the 45RFE transmissions? I have a 2001 QC 4.7 and want to improve the transmission.

From what i understand there is not a shift kit avalible for the new tranny. Partly do to the fact that is a completely new design from the traditional auto. I think our only hope till then is for someone to hack the transmission control modual, and change it to better settings.

Unfortunatly, there is not a shift kit for that tranny yet, and you are probably right about the control module being the best bet. Sorry for the previous comment, I was pissed at my girl and was being a smart ass
:-( Sorry again....
