Just toying around with an idea, would it be reasonably possible to plant a T-56 6 speed in a Dakota?

Guys this can be done, I looked into this when I still had my DAK, and if i remember correctly it was a truck setup by hotchkis (yes the suspension people) it was showtruck/test bed for new stuff of theirs and they had some company make a bell housing adaptor for it. I will look at some of my documention (lol, ok my mags) and see if i can find the article.

It is about time someone said something about
this. Wiley, please give me a way to contact these
people about this. I am going to be doing this
and and 8-3/4 in the summer time. I would rather
a t-56, but will use a tremec tko if I have to. I
am still checking measurements to see if I can
mill my bell housing to make a t-56 work. My only
other option is a viper bell housing.

'92 RC 5 speed 360
thorley headers and flowmaster
ported r/t heads
14.2 with street tires and a 2.2 60 ft.
