hey thats great!!!i check this board alot..but seems like i never see any one from atl..i'm in douglas county..notchix how much did dyno cost ya?? we have same truck..but mine is clubcab and auto..it is early 2000 only one cat..my mods are flowmaster, k&n drop in,3923 plugs..would like more..but money is tight..oh ya whats a air silencer and did ya get more power by removing it???mine don't have rubber piece. later

Hey Man,
The dyno ran 40 dollars for three pulls. They gave us a 25 dollar discount for having so many cars there. There were over 40 cars dynoed that day.
My first pull with the air silencer was a

Second run 5minutes later was a

Third run without the silencer was the best run.

Pretty big difference for a free mod
I'll see next Thursday if I can get this truck into the 14's with the only performance mod being a Flowmaster. I'm putting the traction bars on it, and taking the spare tire off.... We'll see.

notchix is the air silencer the snorkle thing coming out of air box..do you have the k&n drop in..i thought about a home brew intake or modifie where that snorkle thing is..maybe use that black pipe,go toward th rad. opening instead of fender wall..
