my truck (02 r/c 4.7 5sp 3.92 2wd) makes a knocking noise that seems to be comming from the clutch only when it is engaginf, it does it when the clutch gets to the top of the pedal. it also does it if your sitting in nuetral with your foot on the clutch, put it in any gear (not actually engaging the gear), pull it back to nuetral and let off the clutch, it only makes the knock noise once.its not a repetitive noise. also if i put it in 1st accelerate for a foot or two and quick throw the clutch back in, it knocks a few times then (has 205 miles as of now)

Not to be a smart a$$ but the dealer is going to tell you it is normal. Haha because all the trucks that i have heard have that problem
