Does the 4.7 really make 235 because it feels like it makes 270 or somthing. Just curious. Has anyone ever dynoed it? Thanks.

Mar...according to a dyno test done by Bernd the 4.7 makes approx. 218Hp at the rear wheels and 273 Ft/lb of torque. That is with a 68mm Billet TB aftermarket Mod.

The dyno test wasn't performed by me...but rather a 4.7L owner in another state. But yes, 235HP is the rated HP figure at the crank. Subtract about 22% (on the average) for driveline loss and that's what you have at the rear wheels.
BTW: The updated Billet 4.7L TB is 69mm and is being put to the dyno test TODAY by Flometrics. :)
