Yup...right on par (35-40%). With minor enhancements (headers and TB mainly), it will put you in the 40-45% range.

Can anyone recommend a supercharger based upon their experiences? I am considering the Kenne Bell twin screw design. Would like opinions. Thanks.

I'd go with the centrifigual (sp) instead of the Kenne Bell. There is plenty of torqe down low thats not even usable w/street tires. But the top end needs some help & thats where the centrifigual would pump up the powerband.

I would also recommend the centrifical design. With my 99' rt i had a major problem hookin up stock, but then as i approached the upper powerband, the power vanished. With this it keeps a great balance between torque and hp.

It really doesn't matter what type of supercharger you install. Having that beerkeg intake will kill top end. Try Installing the M1 then a Supercharger.

Anthony is right take care of the smaller things like headers, TB, M-1 intake then get the SC...if your looking to get rid of the topend lag the M-1 is the best mod for that, oh and so is the 1.7 RR's.

I have a `99 R/T Ext-Cab. I have put Headman ceramic coated headers, custom y-pipe, high flow 3" cat to a Series-40 Flow 3" to 3", Jet Stage II chip, and a K&N. I want to put a higher than stock ratio set of roller rockers, TB, and a SC. I want to change out the intake but can't find one anywhere. Any ideas or tips on what I should do?

BTW/FYI... removing the nasty stock exhaust manifolds and going to headers increases gas mileage and I got approx 25-30 more horses. The stock exhaust is the worst thing on the R/T.

Thanks in advance@!!

Average, do you have dyno #'s? no way in gods green earth, does headers add 25-30hp. the M-1 only adds 20RWHP, as well as the 1.7RR's

i have all 3 mods and more, and didnt get nearly the hp in the headers as with the 1.7's and M-1

I didn't say RWHP. It had to be that big of a difference from what I had before. Now I can take off mildly then stand on it and it and she'll break loose hitting second. The only thing I can suspect would be that my stock CAT may have had a blockage. Just putting on the headers, custom y-pipe, and highflow CAT made my existing series-40 flow sound like twice the air is running through it.

While we're on the M1, where did you get yours and about how much was it. I've been having trouble finding it. What rockers did you end up getting. I want to do those two mods very soon... then 52mm TB, and finally the SC.

Thanks....

I have a beerkeg intale with my supercharger and it doesn't kill my top end power. I had the runners cut to boost top end power. I also have a custom ground blower cam. If you have the money for a supercharger. I'd recommend a cam ground for a supercharger and a good port job of the intake and heads. It doesn't have to be a full port job. Just clean up the runners, exhuast side if anything. Then get a supercharger. It'll make all the difference in the world.

Sleeper, have you compaired your modded keg to the M-1? im sure the M-1 will pull harder than the keg, and it looks a HELL of a lot better

the M-1 is a replacement intake manifold made by mopar. it gives 20-35hp at the wheels.

the 1.7's are roller rocker arms. the factory rockers are 1.6's made of pot metal. from going from a 1.6 to a 1.7, you will increase the lift and duration of the cam, and this will make the valve open more and stay open longer.
in other words, its like putting a little bigger cam in your truck.
they are worth about 20 rear wheel hp.

Hey everyone, I have a 1999 CC R/T with K&N Gen II intake, taylor ignition wires, autolites, mopar cam, gibson headers, flowmaster muffler, and a custom PCM flash. I recently purchased a vortech supercharger and was wondering what type of numbers I could expect to see. Vortech says 95hp (I think). With my mods should I be seeing more or less of an increase. Without the SC, it put out 225 rwhp. I havn't installed the Vortech yet but it is coming with an 8 and 10 pulley, and I am adding a 52mm TB when I install the SC. I was figuring on about 300rwhp with the 10# but then I saw Lew360 getting 295 with a 6. Any guesses on what I will be able to put down after the install? Also, would 1.7 RR be too much with the mopar cam...and are they even emissions legal in CA?
Thanks for any info

you have a mopar PCM AND a custom flash? is it a blower flash?

if you are going to run 8#, i would seriously invest in some head gaskets, and head bolts or studs.

the 1.7's will wake up the 5.9 of yours and you will have no problems with the pcm. i passed the smog test with mine in CA

im guessing about 320rwhp without the 1.7's. @ 8# thats just a guess

No, not a Mopar PCM, I have a mopar camshaft...and a custom pcm flash. No it's not a flash for the blower, I will have to have it flashed again after I install the SC. I was wondering if the 1.7 RR would be too much with the cam since it has already increased lift and duration over the stock cam.

if it is the mopar R/T cam, you can use the 1.7's with it. you will need a boost timing retard, because the added timing in the flash will cause you to have a serous detionation problem.
