When I bought the 98 Dak, 5spd, v6, it was getting about 15.5 mpg.
i did a basic tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and inflated the tires properly .....that got me about 16.8.
then i added prolong (tm) with an oil change, no real diff there.
i then replaced the stock filter with a k&n, and put a ExTang tonneau cover on the truck
....now at 18.9 mpg
Has anyone put in a jacobs ultra team ignition into a v6 dak? and has it made a noticeable imporvement?
