Has anyone tried the Bosch Super in their 4.7?? It has a copper core. I dont understand how a spark plug may not work the same in the same car. I hear some people have problems with the bosch platinum and some dont. Same with the autolites. Shouldnt they work the same in all trucks that dont have crazy mods like a superchargers??

I did a lot of research covering many Dakota websites and 1000s of appends. I took notes on what sparkplugs that people are using in the 4.7L v8 hemi.

After compiling all of the data, the BOSCH+4 (#4418)came out a clear winner for this engine.
Sure, there are other plugs that may work in this engine. The BOSCH+4 not only worked well when 1st installed... it continued to perform for a long time afterwards with little performance degradation. The nickle-plated threads and high-silicon insilator are also not found on other similar-priced plugs.

NO!! They do not work the same in all trucks!
Different engine designs "like" different sparkplug designs. The 1960s based 318 and 360 engines seem to run better with somting other than the BOSCH+4.

DO NOT FORGET THAT BOSCH INVENTED THE VERY FIRST SPARKPLUG... everyone else has been playing catch-up ever since.

Hey man, funny you should ask because I just picked-up some Bosch Super plugs for our '97 3.9(PN 7562) today! I got 'em at our local AutoZone for 99 cents a piece! I've used them before in older Chrysler products and had GREAT results with them! I'll let you guys know how they run in our Dak. check out these sites for info
