So I had a return line come off my transmision and dumped all the fluid. I have fixed it and refilled the transmision but now I am having some problems: shift points are all wrong, stalls going from reverse to forward, and it seems like it is trying to shift when it is going at very slow speeds (5 mph and under). My thoughts are that the computer relearned something it shouldn't have. Could disconnecting the battery solve my problems? I have already checked with the local dealer to make sure they can reflash the high proformance computer.

I'd definitely try and resetting the PCM. Just disconnect the negative terminal for about 5 minutes or so. If it doesn't help, you may have some worse problems than a funky PCM.
try resetting it first though.

(Don't be insulted)

Make sure you used the correct trans fluid.

The latter model Dodges use different ATFs. Check your Owner's Manuel if you're not sure.

I have a question about pcm resetting. Will removing the negative battery cable for 5 mins. reset the pcm? And if it does what benefits does that offer? Thanks for the help and great website by the way.

I replaced the fluid with quakerstate ATF-3. That is the recomended juice for the trans in the 94's. I reset the computers and had no luck. I'm getting a bit nervous there is something far worse. Does anyone know if there is another chipset in the transmision or elseware that could have fried? I remember fiddling with a 93 intrepid that refused to upshift and it turned out to be a bad chip. Thanks for all the help.

The computer has just about nothing to do with the trans just convertor lock up and O/D. Make sure the level is correct and that the TV cable is adjusted proporly.
