Wayne, saw this in your one of your other posts:

"After 2 pulls, we moved it back to the stock location and my 3rd pull went up 14.4 HP to 196 HP. "

where did you relocate it too? I was thinking off putting mine in the base of my air cleaner (14x3 open)?

Also, what mods do you have already that are getting you 196 rear wheel hp? I had figured that a bone stock would be about 178.4 (20% reduction from 223 hp)? I have never done a dyno run but don't know where the stock baseline should be for a 5.2.

Finally, when you get your timing retart from KRC, let me know how it works, b/c I have the performance PCM already but would like the ability to tow also.

Kevin,
I have a GEN II and I moved the IAT to the tube about 6" away from the throttle body.
Mods to date are 180 degree thermo, K&N Gen II, under drive pulleys, Kenne Bell headers, 2 chamber Flowmaster w/splitter and duals out back,& Trans Go. I use Water Wetter in the radiator, synthetic oil. That is how it was tested. I put 3923's in after the dyno run. I have my new PCM and will be putting it in this Wed. and my 3.90 gears will be put in this Fri/Sat. I am going to cut the splitter off behind the Flowmaster this week and weld on a 45 degree turndown (dump). The retard device hasn't come in yet but I'll let you know what I think as soon as I get to test it.
Next will come Flowmetrics and MPI intake manifold.
My goal is to run better than 14.99 which is about the times my 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 ran in stock form.

Our engines are very similiar, minus the headers and pulleys however I have 3.90s already. If you dyno after the PCM is installed, I would be interested in seeing the results since I have not dyno'd mine at all.

I am happy with my Flowmaster and the single exit in the stock location. I had one of the 3 1/2" chrome sound chambers put on to set it off a little.
