Message: Can anyone recommend the best bang for the dollar on a Roller Rocker system? Are rail rockers much better than ones that need guide plates? Are steel Rockers worth the extra money? Who's the best Company to purchase the RR from? What Brand?
I'm looking for 1.7's for a 2001 5.9
How much do rollpan cost? Do they come pre-painted? I've notice that the stock rear bumper could be acting like a parachute catching wind and causing added drag. I'm sure at 90+ on the track that rear bumper could be slowing the truck down a bunch

Message: Don't know anything about rail rockers, but yes the stainless steel are worth the money, they hold out longer than aluminum. If you have the extra money to spend for quality rockers go w/ Crower...I was looking on their website and if you get the 1.7's that are under 5500rmp's you don't need new pushrods or guidplates. Those run about $485...but I've seen em lower at www.krcperformance.com...they have a good deal plus they give U alot of info. If your gonna upgrade the cam go w/ 1.6's.
