I have a 5.2 with a stock throttle body and I want to upgrade it to a 5.9 one or bigger. Will It work? How much money will it cost? How much horsepower will i get? And where Can I get an aftermarket one? are there any webpages that show pics of them?

Jeff,
Go to the top of this page and click on links. That will bring up a page with 5 selections. Click on "parts". Check out Hughes, KRC and others.

Oh Yeah. I forgot. Check out Flometrics. They cost more but they are really trick. Also, Quick D isn't selling Throttle bodies anymore but you can get the same from www.thefastman.com. These are my 2 choices. I'll decide between them within the next 2-3 weeks.

Question?
I saw a Airaid throttle body spacer kit for 70 bucks. I was wondering what advantage this had opposed to a bigger throttle body on my 5.2L 98 Dakota. And would this even out the bottleneck in the fuel performance. Does anyone know the answer to this? or should I just fork out the bucks to have a new TB put on or can I have the stock reworked, ie. bored?

On page 2 or 3 in the performance (this) section, look at POWERAIDE SPACERS- FACTS, you'll find that the throttle body will be a better decision.

The only thing that the Poweraid spacer helps is tp make the company that sales them richer.
