I built a single turbo system. It took the truck from 14.60s to 12.70s.... so far.

Nice job. It looks real good. I don't think he's interested in doing something like that. he is not very mechanically inclined and I don't feell like doing it for him. I'll just tell him to get a KB charger and call it good. I got enough with mine to worry about

I almost bottled it.... but decided on the turbo instead. It was definately a lot more work, but well worth it. I just wanted it to be "different". Due to my poor planning... a bottle always ran out at exactly the wrong time.

So for 12.90s.... is that a 150 shot or do you have some other mods?

That's as bad as me saying I've been down the track a couple of times! hahaha

How quick is it off the bottle? And what part of the country are you in?

i'm happy with the quickness. 1.8 60ft &8.3 i'm guessing in the eigth. I have a problem with wanting to go faster. the truck started a 16.8. Now i'm putting a 340 in with maybe a 300 shot of nos. It should be on the dyno with in a week or two. where i'm from ? you'll never guess MAINE.
Where you from.

I don't know of many people who are happy with however quick their vehicle goes. Can you say too much is never enough? hehehe

Wow - 300 shot? Be careful! I've seen the results from a 300 shot hit..... lots of extra parts! hahaha

I'm at almost the opposite corner of the country..... Phoenix, AZ. Good luck on your new engine and with the dyno pulls. I'm hoping to get mine on a dyno fairly soon also.

The only unexpected part of the install was how fast it went. There were no problems at all. I only expected mid 13s out of it and hoped it would run at least a high 13 for sure. If it only ran 14s I would have been embarrased.... 12s and I was exstatic!

The 12.76 @ 107.77 mph was with ET streets (28x11.5x15). I only tried a few runs without the slicks - and the best run was a 13.18 @ 106 mph. It's fun to drive without the slicks... but wheelspin is a problem. It hooks quite a bit better on the street - the track is always slippery with street tires.

It spanks Lightnings pretty well right now.
Obviously it won't spank all of them.... those Lightning guys do mods too! hehehe

I'm running the stock cam and injectors.

The only other cams available for it so far are from the 4.7 HO that comes in the 2002 Jeep GCs. Right now I'm using higher fuel pressures to tune the engine under boost. I plan on changing that set-up with larger injectors and some additional computer work.
