 Subject: Trac lock or suregrip diff.

I don't post much but read a lot,Can some 1 tell me the difference between the Trac lock and the suregrip and which is better.
I have a 2000 4.7 355 lsd trac lock,I got a cold air from valant $200.00 lost low in so I used stock air hat and air box with K&N drop in and cut up the valant to where it wold go in to the stock air box and the fender well and sealed it all off and move the IAT to the air box,Had to move the cruise back just a little bit and sealed off the fender well so it only gets cold air, And it's the best mod I have made and I don't have all that noise,so bottom line don't spend all that money on a cold air induction because it don't work on a 4.7 it just sounds like it does.

I was under the impression that they are the same thing. Trac-lock, Surre-grip, Limited Slip Diff are the same thing but named differently. Please, anyone correct me if im wrong.
