 Subject: Free/Cheap mods for the 2.5L

Anyone got some suggestions? I've done the K&N, gutted the cat(and tested better on my emissions~), and did a kickass home-made ram air with a big funnel. I'll post pics of the funnel'd ram-air later tonight, but I'm mighty proud of it. Are there any others to do? It's a 98 with a 5-speed. Also, how in the hell do I get the shifter knob off?

Shifter knob is easy,just pry off the top plastic cap where the shift pattern is with a small sharp screwdriver and you`ll be looking at a 15mm nut,take it off and unscrew the ball to the left and it`s off. Good luck and any cheap mod info for 2.5 will be appreciated. Thanx, hal
