i was wondering who has ported their stock throttle body? was it hard to do? how much did you port it? did you just take off enough so that it was even with the lip? and where did you stop? right before the butterfly valve or a 1/4" from it, where should i stop?

I ported the lip before the butterfly so that the entrance of the throttle body was sightly bigger than the throttle blades. I stopped just before the throttle blade. Don't port where the throttle blade contacts the body that will ruin it.

I ported mine all the way through. I first took the ridge out with a sanding barrel, then used a disc brake hone to smooth everything out. Just make certian you do not go to far. Keep the butterfly nearby for testing during the process and you will be ok.

Took me about a 3 hours to complete.
