I'm running the Splitfire 39?? gapped at .040. Only about 500 miles on them, but it runs fine so far with no issues. Would have gone with the Autolites, but bought the Splitfires several months ago before I found this site. I plan on checking the Splitfires after a 1000 miles or for wear and may replace with the Autolites if they don't look like they are holding up.

Based on the inputs of others on this site and on the DML:

3923's are the best plugs for the 3.9, 5.2, and 5.9L . . .
. . . but don't offer significant improvement for the 4.7L.

Best reported results were for Bosch +4s.
