Message: Anybody ever replace the stock (99 Dak, 3.9, K&N cold air intake) hat with a large volume air box?
High performance motorcycles typically use the biggest air box on top of the carbs or throttle bodies. The stock hat is really small compared to the room available under the hood. Big volume air boxes can help mid-range torque. Anybody (Bernd) ever do anything with this? Just curious. AVH
