I keep reading that chips hinder towing? How so? I saw the dyno curve for the jetchip for the 4.7 and horsepower was significant, but they don't show torque.
I live and drive about 5500 feet, and am looking for a little more power.I have the airaid intake filter. Jury seems out on the exhaust benefits for the 4.7. I tow a 4500 pound rig in the summer.

I had a Mopar chip for the 4.7 on order right before DC discontiued them. I was told by my toy provider that DC was already tired of replacing blown engines caused by people towing with their chips. I got my money back.
