How many different muffler manufactures make mufflers that will replace the factory muffler on our Dakotas without having to make a full custom cat-back system? I would like to make my V6 sound better and get a little better performance. I don't want it to have that import buzz though. Thank you for any help.

Look at the V6 forum. Someone asked the
same question a few days ago. Personally, I
have a Gibson split rear catback system on
my V6 which I 'm really pleased with. I don't
know if the muffler alone is a direct
replacement for the stock muffler. If you look
around on this site you'll see that a lot of
people like Flowmaster also. Just dig around
on this site and you'll find the answer your
looking for.
