Haven't seen anything posted about this in a long time...is there anything new out there besides re-flashing the PCM or using the Jet chips? I HATE passing on I75 or the turnpike only to have the truck "shut down" mid-pass! How embarrassing. Found that changing tire diameters can increase/decrease where the shut down is...stock 255/65R16's would hit 99mph...smaller 245/50R16's without recal'ing the speedo (so truck thinks it's going faster than it is) also hits the 99 mark, but is only really doing about 90mph...way too slow...need more speed! Will be putting 275/60R17's on in a couple weeks...should help some. Any updates on the tips and tricks?

You can by-pass the rev limiter by turning the key to the start position. For passing it works quite well, the gauges and radio will shut down but you wont have that embarrassing shutdown in the middle of going around someone. I do it in my truck whenever I have the room to top out my speed.
