Personal taste is the 5.9L for raw TQ...but the 4.7L now has quite a few aftermarket goodies as well.
If I compare the two on just the engine alone, the 4.7L. If I compare the two on what's available and what can be done with them (stroked, blown, nitroused, cam'd, etc.) the 5.9L wins hands down...for now.

Get the 4.7! It is definitely worth the money...don't waste the money on the R/T, use it to modify the 4.7!!!!!
