Yes I have...

MSD Blaster-SS (#8207) is the recommended coil from MSD for the Gen-III's.

BUT...you have a DIS system on your 4.7L so there's more than one coil and only one option right now from MSD.

So I'd have to pick up their DIS-4 ignition and 4 Blaster-SS Coils?

Is this really worth doing?

Gen-III is the Generation of the Dakota. '97 - Current are "Gen-III".

DIS is "Distributorless Ignition System"

As for the MSD...you can't run the DIS-4 system or the Blaster-SS coils.

MSD's Stacker Ignition, Eight-Channel, Distributorless: P/N# MSD-7020 should be relesed in about 2 months. - $370
