All right, Installed the MSD 6 OFFROAD, Blaser SS Coil, and MSD wires. last year after my K&N FIPK II, didn't notice so much the gain in MPG, with the FIPK on a 318 and doing city driving it doesn't help, 10 MPG Max on a good week from 12 to 13 before the FIPK. And if I didn't run 93+ octain it pinged like all get out. Solved that by getting a Hypertech power progamer and setting up the curve of 87 octain(20 cents cheaper a gallon). I have noticed that the MSD is very plug sensitive, I've tried bosh - Crap, the autolite platnums - lasted longer than the bosh but ended up with a gap .006 larger than what I started with from the wear, and yes they will wear, your putting, with a blaser coil 48,000 volts at 3mA to the plugs. and I'm onto the Denso iridiums now - noticable change in idle and kick in the pants at about 3K RPM. I've also played with the Plug gaps I've settled on a gap no more than .006 to .007 over stock currently running at .050 If I go over that the idel gets rough. Also of note with the MSD there is an impedance missmatch between the PCM and the MSD Computer, this will give you an error code of P0351 Ignition Coil "A" Prinary Secondary Circuit. I havent had problems because of it, but some of you may. A computer reset clears it, but it does come back. In the end I'm looking for HP and Torque, If it gives me some of each and I don't suffer on MPG, its doing its job.

Submarine ET, My truck has this error code "P0351 Ignition Coil "A" Prinary Secondary Circuit" like yours has too.

I have the Mallory 6Al, Pro Master coil, MSD 8.8 wires and 3922īs autolites.

How to solve this problem since itīs not possible to clear this error on the Scanner?

Anything bad can happen with the truck?

I'm looking into making an impedance matching circuit, that would make the PCM think thats its hooked up to the stock coil. But I need some tech info on the stock coil that I haven't been able to find, I need the input impedance for it as well as the MSD or in your case the Mallory, If anyone can help let me know.

As for bad things happening, its just been an anoyance for me thats about all. I've had mine like that for about a year.
