I bought my 93 4x4 Dakota used and am planning on changing the front and rear differential lube. I just found out it has a limited-slip rear so does that mean i have to add an addative (i.e. sta- lube-equa torx). if so do i need to put it in the front also. whats a good 80-90w gear lube to use?

I was going to do this today too. I dont have limited slip so I may go with Castrol. $3.49 per quart at Strauss.

Hey Mark, is that Castrol synthetic or conventional? If you use it does that mean you dony have to use an addative?

It was conventional and the price was mismarked. It was really $4.99 It says it's for limited slip on the bottle.
