 Subject: 4.7 superpower!

I was thinking of putting a kenne bell or a procharger supercharger on my truck. I was wondering what would be the cheaper of the two and which one would work better(reliability). I also figured that I could easily reach 13's in the quarter mile with this mod. Who agrees and who has any info? I would appreciate any info, thanks!

I think that if either of them were set-up correctly.... that 13's would be well within reach. If it were my decision, I would probably try the procharger.

Kenne bell is much better. I think its a root type SC and that is more reliable and maintains hp. The other kind are belt driven turbos that make heat and loose power as engine heats up. Also prone to destroying bearings.

Rock, you need to look at my "Kenne Bell Update" post which talks all about it. Also, Procharger doesn't even make on for the 4.7L yet, however, Paxton does! Both KB & Paxton s/c's are $4000 each.
