I am going from a split rear cat back to just cutting the pipes and running dumps out of the muffler dose anyone have any experience with this?? Pro's Con's?

actually i did this on mine. i had a single 3" side exit and wanted to "clean up" the rear of my truck my getting rid of the pipe. the sound didnt get much louder. I think i might change out the muffler because i want it a little louder.
