I thought my racing days were over long ago, but there is this punk kid in a lifted 78' 351 F-150 that thinks his SDS. Cruises around town without any mufflers with stickers all over his windows and tool box acting like he owns the place. One of the stickers is a Calvin pissing on a Dodge Ram Logo. Well......today, he is on the highway just outside of town weaving in and out of traffic and ends up at a stoplight next to me, the wife and my 01' 4.7 Dakmaster. He looks at me, I look at him, the light turns green, and he gets the solid, severe, righteous, inevetible, and truly sweet, SPANKING that he has been looking for, for a long time. I would not have done this to the poor twisted punk, but the Calvin/Dodge logo, and the smirk he had, told me that he needed an adjustment. Yeah, I knew this would be no contest, but it was so one sided that it had to be done. Another ricer with big eyes.

I had a similar experience with an S-10 at he beach. Tried to show off in front of me, thought he was bad stuff with his mighty S-10 and thornbird tires, he sank. I was in 2wd. Not sure if he was 2wd or 4wd, didnt pay that colse of attention. I laughed. He frowned. I pulled him out. See my post on the off road board. After today, toyota's and S-10's beware. Hey I understand. I found humor in the fact that the young fellow is hot roddin around in a lifted 1978 F150. And yes the Calvin pissin on the Ram is funny as well. I just found the whole story to be very funny. I was not trying to offend you. I'm sure you wiped off his smirk.

Lets see when I had my first truck ('96 RC Sport V6 5 speed) I too spanked a lifted 70's Ford. Then in my second Dak ('92 Ext. Cab. V6 auto 170,000 miles and Viper GTS paint job) I showed an S-10 how to burn tires (actually "a tire"). He was in front of me at the local turn around spot for "the strip" and I had my window down. I heard him rev up his engine, dump the clutch and he merely pulled off a small chirp. I just punched it, no brakes, and roasted through first and chirped 2nd.
Just to clarify, I went to an older truck because my mother signed for the first one (I paid for it still) and the second one was after I left home and she took the '96 away. And the paint job on a 6 was to match the small block I was going to put in it. Traded instead.
What were we talking about? :)
