 Subject: K&N fit on 2001 R/T

Will a K&N induction system made for a 99 durango 5.9 fit on a 2001 durango R/T. I looked and the only diffrence is that the 01 has what i think is the cruise control thing right where the heat shield goes. I was thinking about drilling a hole in the K&N heat sheild and pass it through. Or can I just relocate it.
ALso Is the 2001 located in a diffrent position or how do they make it fit.

You will have to move the cruise control, they make an add on kit, or just fabricate something yourself.
